The historic racetrack typically enjoys seasonably cool ­temperatures that translate into perfect racing conditions and a spectacular\, no-holds-barred battle for the prestigious NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series world championships. It’s a good bet that the Top Fuel\, Funny Car\, Pro Stock\, and Pro Stock Motorcycle world titles will still be in doubt at the beginning of the season’s final day. \nHow to Get There: The track is about 25 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. From Interstate 10 east\, exit Fairplex Drive or White Avenue and go north; follow signs to Fairplex. From I-10 west\, exit Fairplex Drive and go north. The track is about one mile north of the interstate.
