SUMMARY:Struthers Shop with a Cop Car show
DESCRIPTION:Antiques-Tuners-Modifieds-Low Riders-Trucks-Street Rods- Hot Rods-Rat Rods-Classics-Muscles\nGoodie bags-Trophie-Door Prizes-Auction-Food-DJ \nStruthers Shop with a Cop program began in 2011. Fifty-three children\, from infant to high school aged youth were able to shop with the finest men in blue of Struthers. The children were allotted $100 each to shop at Wal-mart in Boardman; half was spent on much needed clothing\, the other half was spent on something special for themselves. The children were also treated to breakfast at What’s Cooking\, located at Matthews Square Plaza then enjoyed several games of bowling at Holiday Bowl in Struthers. The children were transported by Gold Cross Limosine Service. \nShop with a Cop starts each season with a zero budget and are dependent on donations to make each year a success. Proceeds go toward a child in need in the Struthers Community.  Each year the Car Show enables us to shop with an approximately additional 50 youths \nTo qualify to Shop with a Cop\, the child must be from a less-fortunate family who resides in the City of Struthers.  Recommendations are made by the Struthers City Schools\, St. Nicholas School or the Struthers Police Department. \n
